Whether Arvind Kejriwal is a PM material?
These past two days were very hectic. We were wondering whether what we write is worth publication also. These days we write on LinkedIn.com, medium.com, and blogger.com suggesting that whatever we write, we publish. But, there is no test of the quality of our effort. Given so, we decided to write what we have been dreaming about for years. It was you know, about our ideal, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, the deemed prime-ministerial material of the country.
We are fond of the AAP team and expect high from them for the nation. Seeing the political state of the country today and the philosophy, mindset, and thinking of the party we keep it high in esteem. We know that two and two make four and so when we keep all the issues related to Mr. Arvind Kejariwal together, starting from childhood then everything put together seems leading him to the higher chair. We recall we were in Oman when there was the Anna movement when first-time learned about him and then onward though not an AAP member but following him, his party, and his philosophy regularly.
Like any Indian, we are selfish in our love for our country and so hold lots of hope in him, his team, his party, and the way they are accepting the challenges for the causes till goals are achieved. This man, Mr. Arvind Kejariwal is the present-day chief of the Aam Aadmi Party and we believe that like us, many others may also be dreaming so. Interestingly, my liking for him is not guided by the party line but due to some observations like his vision for the nation, his ability to translate into reality, his administrative acumen, his power of resilience, his high vision, and so on. Such beliefs make us to him highly placed for the slot.
When we extend our vision in this direction we find him superbly gifted and groomed as well. Maybe our state has made us biased. But we see him rarely attributed who precisely knows what, when, where, why, and how of the politics. Not only that, but he is also applying these specialties to policy, politics, and the people well.
People are fond of Mr. Arvind Kejariwal:
My liking for him is guided by his way of life. He seems down to earth type Indian, believes in nurturing himself, and seems to behave as per his conscience only. He had many more qualities which collectively made him influence Anna and many others for the anti-corruption movement. We have been following him since Anna's movement time.
Later we saw people coming and going out of his team which wasn't a pleasant experience -but probably only those who had stronger dreams and firefighter vision survived. He was one of those few. There were occasions people were seen criticizing this stalwart but he remained unfetched and indifferent with devotion to his mission. In those days we were thinking about if these guys put themselves in their shoes.
We are not biography writers to describe what, when, where, why, and how Arvind Kejriwal appeared, how he was groomed, educated, married, and so on. We simply know that Arvind Kejariwal is from a humble family with a humble background. His father was a simple and introverted type of supportive person. He was probably a ditto of his father with an added orientation toward service to the people. As far as we know, he is simple, easy, and homely but intelligent and now, a politically mature leader. He had a very strong vision for the nation and if given a chance, is fully capable of transforming our dream into reality. We want to see brooming in our lifetime.
We do not want you to believe that what we talking about is a fan's mindset. We believe in logic. We are probably the better-aware person who isn't happy with the state today and want a change in the country. We dream that our country is in the hands of one who love people first and India both. Keeping such a dream when we look into AAP then a ray arises. We don't know when it will be a beam!
Keeping such build-up, our awareness zeroes of Mr. Ardind Kejariwal. When we look into his journey by now, we see his activities from the very first day are people-oriented. When we visualize his life especially his birth in a moderate family with high intelligence but orientations towards society and people and later developments then we are more convinced. Further, all this giftedness is added with a tendency to achieve the intent.
What makes us believe in Mr. Arvind Kejariwal
Our speculations as above are not baseless. It is based on certain observations. What we know about him convinces us and we want to put our convictions for you to scrutiny below.
He is basically from Haryana from a simple non-visible family which probably made him sincere and introvertly thoughtful with an orientation towards society and/or people's betterment. Such a mindset certainly would have grown with time. It was visible when he was in mother Teresa's camp for a few months in Kolkata. It was when he was away from the shackles of his family in education.
The event related to Mother Teresa was an indication of the mindset of Mr. Kejariwal. His decision to join Mother Teresa showed the intensity he was different from others with his drive to row on his terms & conditions and that too, even if it is against the tide. This tendency was more visible when he joined the IRC dept. There he married a like-minded Ms. Sunita Kejriwal. Here his journey certainly would have seen many ups and down but his humble middle-class mindset might have stopped him from becoming another Mr. Ashok Khemka. Nevertheless, his innate drive remained, leading to his quitting the job at the peak of his career.
However, his social life continued. In 2006 he was awarded the Ramon Magsaysay Award for his work in the right-to-information legislation and later, founded the Public Cause Research Foundation. During this period he kept on pushing himself into deep water, testing in the process, learning, and maturing steadily. Some publicly known events are the best examples of his mindset for the poor which have idled him for people a cross the nation.
Suffice it all we can say that he was really made for 'people' and he always thinks, acts, and works for people. This is not an acquired but natural love and we are sure that he will not leave any stone jam his dream. His later course of political practices validates our beliefs.
If AAP is a political vehicle of Arvind Kejariwal:
When we look into later developments then it seems that 'destiny was preparing Arvind Kejariwal for the higher cause'. We don't know how true is to say so but the way things were happening and he was at the helm of it, were making us conclude so. Say, whether his being of a party in the Anna movement, its decision to make the political party, the occurrence of different testing party events and his remaining on the helm, its repeatedly winning elections, and so on are merely coincidences? You may say so but honestly, we doubt it.
You see initially that movement started with a different cause and later it culminated in something else. The result was thanks to movement pillars like the Bhushan family, Kiran Bedi, Arvind Kejriwal, and many others who finally realized that they will fail unless had a tool that may talk in their language.
This learning led to the creation of a political platform namely, the Aam Aadmi Party. More clearly, This party was formed in November 2012 by Arvind Kejriwal and his team. It was an offshoot of the Anna movement. At that time, Mr. Anna Harare wanted it to remain politically unaligned and so there was a rift leading to the creation of a party without Anna Hajare and Mr. Arvind Kejariwas as its national convenor. Presently, this is Aam Adami Party (AAP) ruling in two states with a thumping majority.
Structurally, the present-day AAP had one national convenor, one national secretary, one national treasurer, one political affair committee (PAC) of eleven members, and a national executive committee (NEC) of 34 members. Party was created with the promise of a corruption-free India. They also formed their government in Delhi but they were not able to get passed the 'Lokpal bill' passed in the assembly and resolved after 49 days of survival.
By now the party had completed a total of 10 years. It had seen many ups and downs, most of the stalwarts joined and left but the party still exists with its core values. Presently, the AAP has a presence in two states, and in both states, they are loved by people for their work. The party strictly follows values like hardcore patriotism, honesty, and humanity.
Presently Mr. Arvind Kejariwal is the national convenor of the Party. If you look into starting from his initial schooling to his social mindset to his creation and AAP successes then one may be confused in assessing where it all is leading. Extending this line of thinking we may conclude that he is one of those rare few creations who luckily had a one-to-one relationship between mental buildup and physical reality.
Our rationale for Arvind Kejriwal:
Recently when we were checking the quota, I encountered one question. It reads as ' what will happen when Arvind Kejariwal will be the prime minister'. People were seen giving mixed reactions. Some supported Mr. Arvind Kejariwal whereas others rejected him based on the number of MPs in the Lok Sabha. The discussion continued.
We were not very happy with the quota feedback. Most of the quota people are learned guys but maybe they are more impartial in their commentary. So if you look at the number of seats AAP had today then his becoming the PM of the country would be a distant dream. But if you look into his way of life, vision for the nation, his dreams for people, the way he was groomed, his mindset, his exceptional way of politicking, and whatnot then you may also feel like pondering the issue. Some issues, we have pondered on for you are below:
a) One that Mr. Arvind Kejriwal is a people's leader. Led by psychology we believe that all his mental predispositions starting from his birth to people's support mindset to the creation of AAP and work to date show that he is made for a higher position. This conclusion is not guesswork. This is based on noting the way he talks, the vision he shares and the intent he shows for the nation. Who knows the nation is awaiting.
b) Anti-corruption movement and active role of Arvind Kejariwal, his rift with Anna Hazare, and their decision in support of creating a political outfit with him as its convenor is another issue. Was it a coincidence? What was the intent? Remember the later developments leading to the breaking out of many known and valued faces. The party had seen many rifts, tussles, and emotional turmoil and yet the party remained with Arvind Kejriwal as its national convenor.
c) The charismatic leadership attributes led by a visionary mindset saw another area that attracted me. This is further added to his political maturity. We find him fully trained, tuned, and ready. Quality people can look beyond a limit and he is one. His visionary and political maturity has made him love the nation and its people by way of honesty and a patriotic way of life.
d) Suppose like us, AAP guys also think that Mr. Kejariwal is fit for the higher position. In that case, what will they do? They knew that politics is not a vacuum game and so in whichever state, they fight elections, they first create the structure up to booth level. According to an estimate, they already had covered half of India. Other states are in the pipeline. Recently, they have formed teams headed by Dr. Sandeep Patil who is exclusively for the job only.
e) Our expectation from Mr. Arvind Kejariwal is also guided by his ability to visualize and grip the mindset of the Indian masses. Contrary to what people say, we believe for sure that the Indian masses do not act as politically wise guys. Rather, they go by crowd mentality. This learning has made them devote their full energy to influencing the mass mind. They succeeded in converting them to vote for AAP and so they have another state, state and now, adopting the same strategy in the state of Gujarat. Idea is to create a platform for mass appeal that the nation listens to.
Like other Indians, we think highly of our nature but believe that among the lot AAP is one such platform, the nation has today which is capable of transforming a 'high dream' into a 'feasible dream'. This is my conviction and wishes, to be the conviction of all proactive-thinking-Indian masses.
